Six Day-Day Three

Today my legs are doubly sore. It hurts to push on my quads with my fingers so a massage is out of the question. It also hurts to go up and down stairs so I relinquished myself to using the elevator at work a few times today. I feel so lazy.

Tonight went great for us. Andrea and I both survived through the Miss and Out and then we had a great race in the Tempo. We both got off the front with Emily and a on a few laps either one of us was taking points and on some laps both of us were taking points and we both had a strong finish. Going into the Madison we were leading in points, we were so excited.

The Madison went well, we kind of still were doing our own thing and not trying to stay with anyone in particular and stay out of the way. We had more successful exchanges so that equated to a good race to me. We are still sitting in 4th, but lost a couple more laps tonight. I thought that a good improvement over Monday because our Madison tonight was 30 minutes instead of 20 and we lost the same number of laps both nights. We must be slowly getting faster. Maybe tomorrow we will work on getting more points duing the sprints that occur every 5 minutes.

We are really close to Heather and Emily in points, if we could just get back a couple of laps in the mass start races we could duke it out with them for 3rd. That will never happen with Mike and Brian in our field, they are soooo strong. Can't wait for tomorrow.
